Install the plugin
In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New, search for ChilliPopup, click Install Now, then Activate. A ChilliPopup entry appears in your admin menu.
Build popups, lead-capture forms, surveys, quizzes and four prize games in one drag-and-drop editor, then put them live on your WordPress site with the free ChilliPopup plugin. Paste your Workspace ID once; everything you publish after that appears on your site without touching your theme.

The ChilliPopup plugin is free in the WordPress plugin directory and does exactly one job: it adds the ChilliPopup pixel to every front-end page of your site, tied to your workspace. No header.php, no functions.php, no child theme.
In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New, search for ChilliPopup, click Install Now, then Activate. A ChilliPopup entry appears in your admin menu.
In your ChilliPopup dashboard open Install, choose WordPress and copy your Workspace ID. Paste it into the plugin's ChilliPopup screen and save. You can paste the whole install snippet; the plugin extracts the ID for you.
Set a popup, form, survey, quiz or game to Published in ChilliPopup and reload your site. The dashboard's Install screen shows a green "Installed & live" check once it detects the pixel on your domain.

Prefer to add the code yourself? The same snippet works through a headers-and-footers plugin or Google Tag Manager. Use one method, not two: a double install can render or count a popup twice.
One plugin, one connection. Everything below is built in the same drag-and-drop editor, targeted with the same display rules and reported in the same dashboard.
Overlays, slide-ins and bars for offers, announcements, coupons and countdowns. Start from one of 60 popup templates or a blank canvas.
Explore popups →Validated email, phone, name, message and consent fields in a triggered overlay: newsletter signups, lead magnets, contact requests. Submissions land in your dashboard.
Explore forms →Multi-step surveys with NPS, CSAT, CES, star and thumbs scoring, and multiple-choice quizzes for product finders. Per-question results in the dashboard.
Explore surveys →Spin the wheel, scratch card, slot machine and claw machine. The server decides the winner and the coupon code is only revealed on a win, so nobody can rig it from the browser.
Explore gamification →Describe the campaign in a sentence and the AI drafts the popup, form, survey or quiz; you refine it in the editor. 10 to 200 generations a day depending on plan.
See it in action →One click creates a Variant B on any widget. Choose the traffic split; each visitor sticks with the version they saw first; results sit side by side with a confidence indicator.
Read the A/B guide →On a blog, the signup earns itself mid-read. Trigger at 50% scroll or after a time delay, restrict it to URLs that contain /blog/ or a category path, cap it to once every few days, and hide it from visitors who already subscribed.
An exit-intent coupon that fires only where the URL contains /cart, or a reassurance panel on the checkout page after a short delay. Rule the checkout campaign "ends with /checkout/" so it never fires on the order-received page after someone has paid.
Once the order is paid, a question costs nothing. Show a one-step survey where the URL contains order-received, after a delay so it lands once the confirmation has been read: how did you find us, or a birthday for next year's campaign.
WordPress popups get a bad name from plugins that ship their own CSS and JavaScript on every page load. ChilliPopup works the other way round: the plugin prints a single asynchronous script tag, and the hosted player renders your campaigns straight into the page.

WordPress lays out its URLs predictably, and ChilliPopup's page rules read them. Every widget carries its own display rules, so a recipe newsletter, a cart coupon and a post-purchase survey can each live exactly where they belong.
One thing to know: page rules widen, they don't narrow. Two URL rules on the same campaign show it where either matches, so use one well-chosen rule per campaign, or split the campaign in two.
| WordPress or WooCommerce page | URL rule | What usually belongs there |
|---|---|---|
| Posts in one category | Contains /category/recipes/ | A newsletter offer that matches the topic |
| The whole blog | Starts with /blog/ | Lead magnet, exit-intent signup |
| One landing page | Equals /free-guide/ | A form or quiz for that page only |
| WooCommerce shop & categories | Contains /shop | Welcome offer, announcement bar |
| Product pages | Contains /product | Welcome offer, back-in-stock capture |
| Cart | Contains /cart | Exit-intent coupon, prize game |
| Checkout, but not the thank-you page | Ends with /checkout/ | Reassurance panel after a delay |
| After payment | Contains order-received | Post-purchase survey, referral ask |

Each popup, form, survey, quiz and game on your WordPress site reports back to the same dashboard, so you can compare a cart coupon against a blog signup without exporting anything.
